AUTHENTIC ISLAND ADVENTURES - RED DIRT PYROTHERAPY
At a time when real connection feels harder to find, we offer something simple but powerful: the chance to slow down, step outside your comfort zone, and rediscover who you are. Rooted in the spirit of adventure and authenticity, our experiences invite you to disconnect from the noise and reconnect—with nature, with others, and with yourself. Let go of the mask, and join us in something real.

About Us

When we were younger, there was a natural sense of wonder, a feeling that discovery waited around every corner. Growing up on Prince Edward Island, summers felt endless, shaped by the sea and sky that defined both the land and who I was becoming. It was a rare kind of connection, between self, nature, and community, that grounded us in something real. But today, in a world of smartphones and social media meant to unite us, people feel more disconnected than ever. We’ve traded presence for screens, often unaware of how much we’re losing when our connections go no deeper than a scroll.

That loss is what led me here, to stop the texting, start the talking, and invite people to rediscover what matters. We all wear masks, shaped by fear, expectation, or habit, but I wanted to create a space where people could let go, even if just for one night, and reveal who they truly are. This isn’t about grand gestures or radical change. It’s about something simple, something real: the pursuit of self, truth, and voice in a time when those things often get lost in the noise.

Finding your path is rarely easy. Life is full of wrong turns, second guesses, and moments of feeling lost, but that’s exactly where growth begins. When we admit we’re uncertain, we open ourselves up to possibility. So come as you are. Let’s step away from distraction, drop the masks, and get a little lost together.

The Process

Step off the beaten path and into a transformative experience on the wild northeastern shores of Prince Edward Island. This intimate, phone-free gathering blends meditation, ritual, and rewilding in a guided journey of self-discovery. From walking barefoot along the cliffs to crafting clay for muditation, a signature hot clay pyrotherapy, you’ll release what no longer serves you and reconnect with your truest self. Through fire, sea, and silence, you’ll emerge renewed, closing the evening with wild-foraged tea beneath the stars. This is more than an escape, it’s a rebirth.

Lose your shoes as you walk in rhythm with nature. All of the elements are at play as you descend the cliffs and discover the shoreline.

We begin by collecting the driftwood from the shore, lighting the fire, and making the special refining clay that will serve as our ritual medium.

The clay will be heated from the communal fire, and when ready, you will be given your own supply in preparation of the muditation.

Through our guided practice of muditation, embracing the duality of both earth and ember, your guide will help you to expel your worries, and empower your inner spirit.

This hot clay pyrotherapy, a North American exclusive offered only on Prince Edward Island, is restorative to skin, nourishing to the mind, and rekindling to the soul.

Muditation is a courageous act of vulnerability and self-expression, which enables you to deeply connect with the natural world that all too often seems so elusive.

Having embraced the catharsis of the clay, you will be given the opportunity to find your own place of respite, reflection, and healing. Using only a pencil and paper, once you find your place of solace you will be asked to put into writing a secret, sentiment, or sense of self that you have never revealed before.

Once written and sealed inside the envelope, you will return to the group. Here, all secrets remain unspoken, and through the gift of your own ember, nurtured by your own breath, these secrets will turn to ash, to be mixed with those of the group, where they will forge a communal sense of soul and solidarity.

Then, at last, free from your burden and embraced by the light, you will be invited to rinse away your clay in a ritual act of self-purification, where you will emerge from the sea anew.

The ashes, signifying rebirth, will be all that remain, to be carried away with you as a reminder of all that you have conquered.

When the ceremony is complete, the group will reconvene around the fire, as the sunset fades to darkness. A traditional wild-foraged tea, consisting of spruce tips, bayberry, raspberry leaf, and spring water, will be served.

This restorative tea has been carefully crafted to support health of mind and vitality of spirit. In a moment of reflection and connection, a final toast will be offered, to your health, to your heart, and to your future.

At last, when the embers have faded, and the stars have appeared, you'll retreat back to what you've left behind, keenly aware that it's not the world that has changed, but you.

Depending on the temperature, a loose pair of beach pants, and a sweatshirt, and recommended. We also suggest that you wear a dark bathing suit, as lighter colours will stain from the clay. Footwear will not be permitted.
What should I bring?
Apart from your bathing suit, and a sense of adventure, you should also bring a towel and a full water bottle.

Given that is an off-grid, rewilding experience, there are no washrooms or facilities of any kind on site. Please contact us if you have concerns.
What ages are welcome?
This experience is reserved for guests who are eighteen and older.
Why is it anonymous?
In an age of social media performativity, it is our steadfast belief that in order to find yourself, you must first be willing to lose yourself, and the anonymity of the experience helps to heighten that sense of self-discovery.
Am I physically able to participate?
Accessing our firesite can be difficult for some, as you are required to navigate the rocks and cliffside. As a good home test, we have found that if you are able to crawl under a chair with ease, you will be able to access this experience. Please contact us if you remain uncertain.
